The Andrews Journal is a weekly newspaper based in Andrews, North Carolina covering eastern Cherokee County.
The Andrews Journal is located in downtown Andrews at 116 Chestnut Street. Just one block from Main Street, it is across from the Valleytown Cultural Arts Center, at the bottom of the schoolhouse steps.
The Andrews Journal is published weekly on Thursdays, serving the communities of Andrews, Marble, Nantahala and Topton. Along with the news of the day, the Journal gives special attention to schools, town and county meetings, sports, weddings, engagements, birth announcements, business, entertainment, churches, clubs and community events. Much of the community news is submitted by members of the community.
The Andrews Journal is published with pride for the people of Cherokee and adjoining counties by Community Newspapers, Inc., (CNI) Athens, Ga., who believe that strong newspapers build strong communities.
